This notice explains how LockIn handles information while the service is in its early trial stage. We aim to collect only what we need to provide, protect and improve the product.

• Learning material, answers and assessment activity you choose to provide.
• Your study situation, goals and feedback.
• Basic technical and usage information needed for security and product improvement.

How we use information

We use information to create and mark assessments, diagnose learning gaps, personalise what happens next, operate accounts, prevent misuse, fix problems and understand how the trial is performing.

Your learning material

You remain responsible for material you upload. Do not upload confidential information or content you do not have permission to use. We may use trusted service providers to process material only as needed to deliver the service.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations and service security. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and any information we must retain. Trial features and retention practices may change as the product develops.
